Weekend Ride planned finally!

Finally met few Bikenomads friends and other regular Tourers yesterday and decided ride plan for coming weekend. Belum caves was voted out enmasse as it was ride through boring plain straight roads and nothing much to see there either. Yercaud didn't find many takers. So finally it was decided that we are gonna hit Bandipur, masinagudi and Gopalaswamybetta in 2 days leisurely ride.

Am looking forward to this ride, I will get to test me new Fieldsheer riding pants in this ride. Since we would be starting early on saturday morning would mean, i would have to leave early from office on Friday's night shift and continue riding till noon or evening atleast with out sleep or rest in between, it's gonna be an endurance ride for sure! I have already been to Gopalaswamy betta twice, once with Sachin and some time in October last year in a cage with friends. During the cage ride, we managed to hit the foothill at 5.30 AM after night ride and it was breathtaking to see the views and sunrise there. So the plan is to start very early on 2nd day morning and catch the sunrise there.

The plan is:

Day1: 23rd Feb Sat: We will be leaving by 5.15 AM.

Route:
Bangalore>Mysore>Nanjangud>Gundlupet>Bandipur>masinagudi>bandipur.

Day2: 24th Feb Sun:
Route: Bandipur>gopalswamybetta>bandipur>Gundlupet>mysore>bangalore (cover the waterfalls or Kanva dam seeing the time available)

As of now 4 Riders are confirmed, Two zmas, 1 Bull Thunderbird and 1 Pulsar 150.

Lets see how this one turns out. Catching the sunrise on a bike ride in gopalswamybetta will be a good photo opp for sure!
