Bandaged Beauty all set for the Ride!

No, it ain't a pic of a babe in hospital :P but pic of my zma's tank after my "hard work" yesterday with scotch tape to start using Cramster tank bank for this weekend's ride. This jugaad is to prevent more scratches getting added to the tank from tankbag. Even though the tankbag has soft material on the contact patches, dust enters the gap between the tank and tankbag while riding and it results in scratches as i have seen in sachin's bike. Zma's tank has lot of battle scars already, prominent ones thanks to my kneeguards, which i wore over the pants once and they neatly scraped off paint from the sides of tank :(

I don't want any more nasty contributions. So had to do this ugly jugaad. While i was taping up the tank, i decided to tape up the side panels too as the cramster saddle bags rub against the side panels and leave lot of scratches.

As a followup of my last post i took these pics in office parking lot. The "bandages" will go after this ride, May be after this weekend's ride, where, i will be using the tank bag for the first time, i will get an idea as to where exactly i have put the "bandages" for future rides :P This first time effort is surely a work which is overdone to say the least :P
